REFLECTING ON A VIBRANT SUMMER AND LOOKING AHEAD AT BAYVIEW
As we reflect on this past summer at Bayview, I’m incredibly grateful for the variety of activities and events our members have enjoyed. From thrilling golf tournaments and engaging tennis and pickleball matches to lively social gatherings and fitness challenges. This summer has truly been one to remember.
None of this would have been possible without the commitment, creativity, and hard work of our incredible team. Our management team stepped up and ensured everything ran smoothly during this busy season.
To our members, thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm. Your participation, referrals, and the energy you bring to the club are what make Bayview such a welcoming and vibrant community. We are honoured to be your home away from home, where you can create lasting memories with your family and friends.
As we continue to enjoy Bayview, I kindly ask that we all remain mindful of respecting our fellow members and the staff who work tirelessly to ensure your experience is the best it can be. Our goal is to make Bayview a relaxing & exciting home away from home for our members, and a safe & happy place to work for our staff. Together, we can create a truly wonderful Club.
I would also like to extend a special thank you to the group of members who volunteered to reorganize and refresh our Bayview library, located downstairs just outside the Oak Room. Your care and dedication are greatly appreciated. The library is open to all members and staff, and we encourage you to enjoy this cozy space and leave books you’ve loved for others to discover.

The leadership and the passion they’ve shown in serving our members have been outstanding; Bonny has kept our finances in great shape while overseeing the HR department. Mike’s dedication to maintaining the beauty of our golf course, paired with Mark’s organization of exceptional golf experiences, has made every round a pleasure. Together, they are working on the practice facility project, which promises to bring even more excitement to our members in the upcoming season. Geoff’s efforts have kept our tennis and pickleball programs vibrant, ensuring our members stay active and entertained. Darryl has overseen smooth clubhouse operations and successful social events, while Jennifer has led our fitness and wellness programs, keeping our members motivated and healthy. Meanwhile, Chef Chaminda has continued to deliver exceptional culinary experiences, making every meal at Bayview something special.
I am also deeply appreciative of every other staff member who supported our team this summer. Their hard work behind the scenes—in maintenance, member services, food & beverage outlets, housekeeping, the back shop, or on the greens—has been essential to our operations. Each one of them has contributed to making Bayview a place we can all be proud of.
In addition to the efforts of our staff, I’d like to take a moment to recognize our Board and Committee members. Their dedication and willingness to volunteer their time and expertise play a crucial role in enhancing the member experience. Through their thoughtful guidance and collaboration with our staff, they help ensure that Bayview remains a great place for members of all ages and cultures to enjoy. We truly appreciate the time and effort they invest in supporting and strengthening our club.
